Initially they asked if we could etch the granite base to a suitable depth to accommodate stainless-steel lettering.
That was certainly possible. However, experience has taught us that a better solution is to cut through background material then bond the insert to the piece you have just removed. You then take this composite section and ‘plug’ it back into the granite
This provides a more durable solution, particularly in heavily trafficked outdoor areas.
